• Private Pilots Licence (PPL)

  This licence will allow you to fly anywhere you like, in any aircraft for which you have an endorsement.

  You will learn how to fly safely in controlled airspace, as well as away from cities and towns.

  The course teaches you how to handle emergencies, and how to navigate.

• Commercial Pilots Licence (CPL)

  This licence allows you to fly for reward, and is the licence you will require if you wish to earn your living as a pilot.

  There is more of an emphasis on low-level flying, how to handle emergencies, and a higher level of flying skill.

The school is located within the Caboolture industrial complex and is a comfortable modern air-conditioned facility staffed by highly experienced instructors with a wealth of experience from diverse backgrounds. These instructors have each accumulated over 10,000 hours of flying experience in their respective fields and are keen to pass on their knowledge to you.

Caboolture airport is located 23 km north of Brisbane at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast, adjacent to Moreton Bay. The area is well known for its glorious weather, beautiful beaches, pineapple, strawberry and sugar cane farms and a host of tourist attractions.

Part of the Moreton Bay area is a sanctuary and first time students to Caboolture Airport are usually surprised to find that at times we share the runway with a group of up to twenty kangaroos. Landing and take-off in such an environment is never dull and guaranteed to sharpen your flying skills.

Our flying school is in a well constructed building backing onto the airport. One of our comfortable classrooms overlooks one of the runways, providing you with a grandstand view of other pilots perfecting their take-off and landing technique.

Our Training Area, in quiet uncontrolled airspace, is adjacent the airport, allowing us to begin our lesson immediately we leave the circuit area. However, civil controlled airspace of Brisbane and Maroochydore as well as military controlled airspace areas of the RAAF at Amberley and Army Aviation at Oakey are only short flights away allowing us ample opportunity to increase your experience flying in these environments.
