By now, you will be wondering how much it will cost you to learn to fly. It's not cheap! It's a major investment, whether for a hobby or a living.

For specific details and costs, please click here and we will email you a copy of our brochure. Below are need some ball-park figures, so that you can start to do your sums:

• Private licence PPL(H) - approximately AU$25,000
• Commercial Licence CPL(H) - approximately AU$50,000

You also need to budget for the fact that you won't be earning a living during your training; and the cost of accommodation if you don't presently live near Caboolture airstrip.

It's possible to do your training over a period of time, on and off, with breaks to earn more money. But it's not optimal.

Note: CASA has recently introduced a changed system for applying for student and other licences. There are fees associated with this process, so please check with us when doing your budget for a training course.
